Late Dr Abel Ujiya Adamu
The death has been announced of the former Bursar of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Chief Dr. Abel Ujiya Adamu.
Chief Adamu, who was the Proprietor, Teacher Home International School, Lokoja and Chief Executive of Winner Hotel, Idah, passes on at the age of 55 following an illness on October 15, 2020.
A statement by the elder brother of the deceased, Mr John Umoyeli said the funeral ceremony of the deceased would commence with a wake on the 28th January at his residence, Doctor Abel Ujiya Adamu Close, Road 11 Peace Community Lokoja by 4pm.
According to the statement, Adamu's remains would leave Specialist Hospital, Lokoja at 7am on the 29th January for his home town, Odeke in Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Funeral service would take place at the United Evangelical Church, Odeke Ibaji at 12noon, while interment would follow immediately at his residence Omaeliwo Phase 11, Odeke.
Umoyeli statement issued on behalf of the bereaved family read:
Chief Dr. Abel Ujiya Adamu's Burial Announcement
With a heavy heart butf total submission to the will of God Almighty, we announce the burial of the former Bursar, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, the Proprietor, Teacher Home International School, Lokoja and the Chief Executive of Winner Hotel, Idah, Chief Dr. Abel Ujiya Adamu who transited on 15th October, 2020.
Burial Arrangements:-
- January 28, 2022, there will be a wake at his residence, Dr. Abel Ujiya Adamu Close, Road 11 Peace Community Lokoja, Kogi State.
Time: 4:00 pm.
- January 29, body leaves Specialist Hospital, Lokoja at 7am for his home town, Odeke in Ibaji Local Government Area of kogi state.
- Funeral service takes place same day at United Evangelical Church Odeke Ibaji at 12 noon.
Interment follows immediately at his residence Omaeliwo Phase II, Odeke to be followed by reception.
