Confirming the development in a statement to it customers, the Head, Corporate Communications, EEDC, Emeka Ezeh, said as a result of this unfortunate development, all our outgoing feeders are out and supply to our customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo States has been affected.
The statement said, “We are currently on standby, awaiting further directive from the National Control Centre (NCC) for restoration of supply.”
Recall that the first EEDC general system collapse occurred on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10:40 am
Eze, while confirming the development in his statement yesterday, said “EEDC wishes to inform her esteemed customers in the South East of a general system collapse which occurred on Monday, 14th March, 2022 at 10:40 am.
