The Enugu State Police Command has commenced investigations into the fire that broke out at George Ogara’s Campaign Office in Enugu.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amaraizui, said in a statement that the fire occurred in the early hours of Saturday.

Ogara is one of the politicians claiming to be authentic governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Enugu State.

The statement read, “It was gathered that in the early hours of December 23, 2018, fire incident had allegedly occurred at Ogara APC campaign office where two buses allegedly got burnt.

“However, the prompt intervention of the police operatives and fire service prevented it from escalating and causing further destruction as the fire was promptly extinguished.”
