Police parade Pastor who killed girlfriend, took her N2m and landed documents

An acclaimed man of God who gave his name as Pastor Chukwuemeka Eze, the overseer of Royal Priest Ministry, New Artisan market Enugu, was among fifteen suspected criminals paraded by the Enugu state police command, Wednesday, for allegedly killing his girl friend and collected a cash of N2million with her on that fateful day, and thereafter took possession of her landed documents and other properties.

Pastor Chukwuemeka Eze, who was paraded among other crime suspects before newsmen  at the State Police headquarters, Enugu, confessed that he committed the crime and attributed it to the work of Satan.

He said he hit the deceased with a stick as they quarreled over an issue and that it was not his intention to kill her.

The acclaimed Pastor, who hails from Obollo Etiti in Udenu local government area of Enugu state, disclosed that he had been in intimate relationship with the deceased [name withheld] since the past five years.

The Enugu state police commissioner, Ahmad Abdur-Rahman told journalists that the acclaimed Pastor committed the crime on July 15, 2019 and hid it to himself. But police investigations revealed that his action was deliberate since he collected the sum of two million naira the deceased had with her on that particular date, after killing her. Thereafter, he started the process of taking over her landed documents.

The Enugu Police Commissioner, Abdur-Rahman said the matter will be charged to court as soon as the police complete their investigation.

The police also paraded a gang of three armed robbers comprising of two young men namely Nweke Friday, aged 24 years, Ochie Fidelis Ikenna [26] and a lady Oluchi Chinedu Nweke, 35 years of age,for allegedly robbing people to the tune of six million naira at gun point at a POS center in Garriki Awkunanaw Enugu.

The police equally paraded  75 years old man who gave his name as Mama Onoja Boniface for defiling an eleven year old girl.

The police said Mr Onoja Boniface who hails from Ugbaike community in Enugu Ezike,Igbo Eze North local government area of Enugu state, committed the offence on August 30, within the premises of Community secondary school Ugbaike, where he works as a security guard.

According to the police, the suspect was caught while having carnal knowledge of the young girl [name withheld] by a passerby,whom the suspect pleaded with not to expose him.
