Twenty-six-year-old Mercy Eke made history, as she is the first woman to win the coveted BBNaija reality TV show prize.

Ceece had come close to winning the big prize in the last season, having become one of the two last two finalists, but she missed it.

According to her bio on BBNAija website, Mercy, the  video goddess and businesswoman, is based in Lagos.

She loves cooking, swimming, travelling and dancing.

No matter the setbacks, Mercy always picks herself up and does her best, Biggie narrated.

“I’m grateful for each and every day. Being alive today is already the highest point of my life,” she once said.

When she’s not dancing, singing or rapping, Mercy makes time to enjoy her favourite food — white rice and pepper soup.

“If she had a million dollars in her account, would Sugar still be in the BB Naija game?” she was asked.

“Yes, I would. I want the fame. The popularity is very important for my business,” she said at the inception of her stay in the house.

As the winner of the Big Brother Naija 2019 grand finale prize, Mercy Eke is going home with prizes worth N60m. However, not everything is cash.

Mercy won the BBNaija show with 41.77%

According to the organisers of Big Brother Nigeria reality show, MultiChoice Nigeria, Mercy will collect a cash prize of N30million and an SUV from Innoson Motors.

She has also won a trip to Dubai for two packaged by TravelBeta; a home make-over courtesy Scanfrost; a year’s supply of Pepsi and One Africa Fest VVIP experience; a year’s supply of Indomie Noodles and Munch It; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.

She also has won two VIP Tickets to watch a European Football final game live, courtesy BET9ja.

The winner of the previous edition was Miracle Ikechukwu Igbokwe, who got N45m worth of prizes.

Chief Executive Officer, MultiChoice Nigeria, Mr. John Ugbe said: “Each edition of Big Brother Naija significantly improves on all aspects of the previous season and this year is no different”.
