Nigerian scammers have often been called “Yahoo Boys,” because many of their hustles used to target users on Yahoo services. And they've embraced this identity. In the rap song “Yahooze”—which has more than 3 million views on YouTube—Nigerian singer Olu Maintain glamorizes the lifestyle of email scammers.
Agents of the EFCC, Uyo Zonal Office in a joint activity with a portion of the Commission's agents from Abuja, in the early long periods of Thursday, November 28th, raged a structure portrayed as 'Hurray ACADEMY', purportedly utilized exclusively for the preparation of youths in different parts of digital culpability.

During the raid on Essien Street, Ikot Ibiok town in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, 23 suspects including administrators and learners were captured. The suspects were between the ages of 19 and 35. .
They have admitted that they were experiencing preparing in different parts of digital culpability, for example, Love Scam, Online Trading Scam, Theft Identity and so on.
