The Social Democratic Party, SDP, gubernatorial candidate for November 16th, 2019 Governorship election in Kogi state, Barrister Natasha Hadiza Akpoti, has expressed her determination to uncover the rationale behind the burning of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC office in Abuja on Friday.

Natasha was quoted as saying, "Don’t worry, I have certified true copies of records of Yahaya Bello’s double registration and Edward Onoja’s age falsification. This fire will not help any crooked cover up."

The media centre of INEC in Abuja was involved in a fire incident on Friday, April 17, 2020.

The fire broke out around noon and Firefighters rushed to the scene to stop the inferno but some valuable items were reportedly consumed.

The office is the third government building to witness a fire incident in Abuja in just a little over a week.

Recall that, the executive Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has been in the news concerning the double registration saga.
