The patient, the Governor further said, on his last visit to Ore in Ondo state was unable to get passengers to the East which prompted him to be sleeping at motor parks and filling stations in the area.

He said that the driver later made his way back to the state through Ishiagu in Ivo LGA to Afikpo North LGA and down to Okposi in Ohaozara Local Government Area of the state before he was apprehended by the council Chairman who handed him over to the police and members of the State security outfit.

He noted that when tested, only the commercial driver tested positive after he was tested twice.

He said that others numbering over 300 persons who illegally entered the state through the boundaries and were arrested and quarantined, all tested negative adding that to ensure proper check, those who tested positive would also be tested again to ascertain their status.
