Ondo poll: PDP names Dogara chairman screening panel

The Peoples Democratic Party, on Wednesday named former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, as chairman of its Ondo State 2020 gubernatorial primary screening committee.

Other members of the panel include: Senator Sen. Zainab Kure, Fred Agbedi, Ndubuisi Agwuama, and Rev. Bunmi Jenyo (Secretary).

This was contained in a statement signed by the PDP National Organising Secretary, Col. Austin Akobundu (retd.),

He said in a terse statement, “The National Working Committee of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, has approved the nomination of the following party members to serve on the Gubernatorial Screening Committee.

“The committee is mandated to screen all aspirants for the upcoming 2020 Governorship Election in Ondo State.”

The committee will be inaugurated at the NWC Hall, Wadata Plaza, at 10:00am.
