Senator Kashamu Buruji has died. Buruji died today August 8 after a battle with the novel Coronavirus. He was 62-years-old.

His former colleague, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce announced his passing on Twitter this evening.

”I have just lost my good friend of forever to #COVID19 . Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable. He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I pray his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.” Murray-Bruce tweeted

Senator Buruji represented Ogun East in the 8th National Assembly. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
