Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose and a former senator from Kaduna State, Senator Shehu Sani on Thursday dismissed the nationwide broadcast by President Muhammadu Buhari in the wake of the #EndSARS protests as completely empty.

The two known critics of the president took to their twitter handles to express their disappointment at the broadcast, preferring that the president didn’t address Nigerians.

Specifically, Sani tweeted ‘you ask for speech, you got the speech, now, you are speechless”

On his part, Fayose who described Buhari’s broadcast as “speechless speech,” said, “I warned Nigerians.”
