Pres. Buhari assures Nigerians on security

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday assured Nigerians that his government would continue to focus on the improvement of security and infrastructure.

Buhari gave the assurance while speaking at the inauguration of the Sunti Golden Sugar Estate in Niger State.

He said his administration would concentrate on roads, rails and power generation across the country.

Admitting that the government could not do everything alone, the President said his administration would partner the private sector to achieve its goals.

Buhari said, “Let me reassure Nigerians that this administration is fully committed to the transformation and diversification of the economy.

“We will continue to support businesses by creating an enabling business environment.

“I wish to assure Nigerians that this government will continue to focus on the improvement of security and critical infrastructure like roads, construction of rails and power generation across the country as a vital pre-requisite to economic progress.

“We all know that the government cannot do everything alone. We will need to partner with the private sector.
