Less than 24 hours after the kidnap of students of Government Science School (GSS), Kagara, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, bandits have struck again, this time at some Communities in the Gurmana ward of Shiroro Local Government Area.

Reports say the gunmen struck again at Sarkin Zama, Bakin Kogi (Lagbe), Siyiko, and other adjoining villages on the same Wednesday evening, a few hours after ransacking the entire village.

The hoodlums, said to have come in large numbers to carry out the operation which lasted for hours, reportedly hello hello I'm not there but I called them now no thanks you will see the meanness in less than 20 minutes left behind some casualties, with unspecified number, said to have died, while others were left injured.

Sani Kokki, of the Concerned Shiroro Youths, who gave account of the incident, said some people died while others who sustained various degrees of gunshot injuries were rushed to various health facilities for medical attention, adding that scores of others were also abducted and taken to unknown destinations.

“Countless deadly attacks have become daily occurrences, thereby compelling the affected victims to live at the mercy of hydra-headed monsters. Defenceless, unarmed, and peaceful locals have been abandoned to their fate,” Kokki added.
