Breaking: Former Delta Governor dies at 73

A former military administrator of Delta State, Air Commodore Ibrahim Kefas (Retd), has died. He was aged 73.

 
 

Kefas, who was from Taraba State but resided in Abuja died in the early hours of Friday, October 1, 2021 according to multiple sources.

Kefas was appointed by the General Sani Abacha military regime first as a military administrator to Cross River State from December 1993 to September 1994 and then to Delta State till August 1996.

On his exit from the military he tried his hands in politics and contested for the governorship of Taraba State on the platform of the National Democratic Party, NDP in 2007 but lost to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s Danbaba Suntai.
