2022 Nigeria National Essay and Debating Championship For Schools

The United Organization for Education and Sports Development Nigeria is very elated to announce the commencement of the 2022 annual National Essay and Debating Championship for Primary and Secondary School Students in Nigeria. The Forum which is for a new Nigeria with the sole aim of transforming the Nigerian youths through quality education, sports and peace building mission while announcing the call for participation by the President General, Ambassador Chineke Cajethan Goodluck at the prestigious Model Comprehensive Boys' Secondary School Inyi in Enugu State on the 11th of January 2022 encourages students to apply and stand the chance of getting rewarded for excellence

Primary School Category

Essay Competition

Topic: 

What I should have done to make Nigeria best country of the world If I were the President of Nigeria

All primary school pupils in Nigeria from basic three to six are expected to discuss the topic in no more than 1, 000 words

Applicants must attach their full names, class, age, school, teacher and school phone number to their submission

All submission must be sent to uoesdessaycompetition@gmail.com and be received on or before 31st March, 2022

Secondary Category

Debating Championship

Topic: Poor Economic Status of Nigeria: Whom should we blame? The Leaders or the Led

Any student from Senior Secondary School 1 -3 can participate for the race.

He or she is expected to speak in no more than 5 minutes and share the points via WhatsApp to: +2348145655819 with the full names, registration receipt, school name, phone number of teacher coach and State where the school is located boldly written

The applicants are free to oppose or support the debate topic.

The shortlisted applicants would be advised on the next step regarding the award ceremony

The debate presenter must wear his or her school uniform otherwise renders the submission void

All entries must be received on or before March 31st, 2022
